Amber has represented Canada at World Cup events, been ranked 3rd in Canada on the national circuit, and has been a past BC Cup Overall DH Champion. Amber has competed and coached throughout North America and the United Kingdom, including for Whistler Bike Park and Endless Biking, and currently coaches for Drift on Vancouver Island.

What is your single greatest achievement as an athlete?
Working with the Tseshaht First Nation to assist the youth in their community on realizing their dream of building a mountain bike park in their community. Amber’s accomplishments include representing Canada at World Cups, including a top 15 finish, placing in the top 3 on the Canada Cup National Circuit and being a past BC Cup DH Champion. Through coaching, community involvement, and racing at the international level, my goal is to motivate people to pursue healthy, active living.

What is your single greatest achievement outside of sports?
Earning my Masters degree by the age of 22 and going on to work in the international field of community planning, sustainability and youth engagement.

Who was your role model when you were young?
My parents are both my role models. They are always very actively involved in the community - from environmental projects to working as care givers with those in need. My grandfather taught me a strong work ethic and instilled a sense of adventure in me. My brother is a role model as well. He always inspires me to push myself as a community leader and in sport.
